Aircraft hold luggage
Only standard luggage may be checked in to the aircraft hold. No individual item must weigh more than 32 kg. Different airlines may apply different restrictions or charges to large objects such as bikes, golf clubs, surfboards, etc. Please contact your airline for details.
The free baggage allowance is shown on your ticket. For excess baggage, you will be required to pay a tax per kilo or per additional item of luggage. Please contact your airline or your travel agent for details.
Large objects (bikes, golf clubs, surfboards, etc.) should be checked in at the oversize luggage desk (Arrivals hall).
For security reason in Biarritz airport, all bikes must be protective in card board, Handlebar and pedal must be dismantle and the tyre air must be empty. Protective cardboard boxes for bike 175 cm x 21,5 cm x 86cm) and plastic sacks for pushchairs can be purchased from the airport information desk (€11 per box & €1 per sack).
For lost or damaged luggage, please contact the Luggage Office.
Passengers must keep the ticket stub and luggage label receipt handed to them at check-in as they will be asked to produce them in the event of any problem or dispute.
